2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Electrical item which had been plugged in caught fire in the cellar. Crews used jets to extinguish fire and a hydraulic ventilation on scene to ventilate property

Reports of a bonfire that was close to a hedge- this incident was a controlled burn involving burning of cardboard in a metal brazier a responsible person was present and advice was given no fire service assistance was needed

At 18:42 on Wednesday, 1 November, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Hanwood, Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley, Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

On arrival it was found no persons to be trapped, crews have assisted one casualty to the care of the Ambulance service using a short extension ladder. Fire service personnel have made vehicle electronically safe.
