3 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Small fire containing rubbish which was out on arrival of crews. No equipment in use. One casualty assessed by ambulance crews.

At 15:38 on Friday, 17 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Welshpool.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Portable pump

Assisted by Mid & West Wales Fire Service. Crews extinguished fire using light portable pump and 1 hose reel jet. Farm machinery was also used to drag rake fire.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Short extension ladder

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

One vehicle in collision with pole and located down steep bank. Casualty self-extricated and crews used short extension ladder to assist driver from bank.
