3 fire appliances including the Incident Command Unit were mobilised from Clun, Craven Arms, Shrewsbury and Tweedale. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service .

Crews rescued person from the embankment of the river, crews used life jackets and throw lines.

Crews have responded to unconfirmed reports of a person in the river. Following a through investigation in the area, this was found to be a false alarm
