At 02:37 on Thursday, 31 March, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smell Of Burning in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Automatic fire alarm activation which proved to be a false alarm caused by faulty appliance. Fire crews used 2 thermal image cameras and short extension ladder to inspect area
