At 11:04 on Monday, 18 July, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Field on fire caused by a power line falling. Crews extinguised using 2 hose reel jets. Western Power also in attendance.
