At 18:14 on Tuesday, 16 August, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shifnal.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a vet.

This incident involved a Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a section of rebar through it's paw. It had been sedated by a vet allowing fire service personnel to remove the rebar using a pedal cutter.
