At 15:50 on Saturday, 10 December, 2022, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Reports of house fire which proved to be a tumble dryer on fire. Fire crews removed tumble dryer to outside and used 1 hose reel jets, 2 breathing apparatus, 1 covering jet and one thermal image camera
