At 08:55 on Thursday, 23 February, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire Persons Reported in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm with good intent caused by bright sunlight through the window
