At 20:40 on Saturday, 1 April, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in near Welshpool.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear

Over the border incident, Shropshire fire crew assisted our colleagues in Mid and West Wales. Small fire involving kitchen Aga. Crews used small gear and chimney rods to dampen down
