At 00:53 on Tuesday, 2 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Kitchen Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Market Drayton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Fire in kitchen affecting kitchen unit and door frame.
