At 09:45 on Thursday, 18 May, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Gas Leak in Shifnal .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

This incident was a false alarm caused by gas cooker being left on. Property was naturally ventilated and advice given.
