At 14:16 on Friday, 9 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving plug socket in kitchen, fire was out on arrival, crews used a thermal imaging camera to check the property.
