At 18:39 on Tuesday, 20 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as LGV Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet

Fire involving Light Goods Vehicle, fuel pump and service station canope also affected. 4 breathing aparatus, 4 Hosereel jets and 1 main foam jet in use to extinguish.
