At 22:29 on Tuesday, 20 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Report of car on fire. On arrival of crews, 2 tons of fly tipped rubbish set alight in corn field. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets and drag rakes.
