At 04:14 on Tuesday, 11 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem.

Crews were called to scene due to alarm sounding, however upon arrival it was determined to be a false alarm.
