At 14:54 on Monday, 4 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Buckets of water
• Chimney rods
• Stirrup pump
• Thermal imaging camera

Reports of a chimney fire- Crews extinguished using chimney rods, stirrup pump and buckets of water. Crews carried out a thorough investigation using a thermal imaging camera on all floors.
