At 04:53 on Friday, 15 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Winches

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 HGV and 1 van. 1 person released from vehicle using Holmatro and specialist equipment and left in the care of West Mids Ambulance Service.
