At 16:39 on Saturday, 4 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Fire involving burning of garden waste out of control. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet to damp down around fire. Fire is now being allowed to burn out. Advice was given to occupier.
