At 16:41 on Monday, 29 July, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Minsterley.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Beaters
• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Fire in field that has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
