At 23:52 on Saturday, 17 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involved fire in wheelie bin at rear of property which spread to kitchen of two properties, crews used two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish.
