At 18:55 on Sunday, 22 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders
• Small gear

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Two vehicles involved in RTC. One casualty was medically trapped within vehicle and crews assisted the casualty by using holmatro cutters to remove the side of the car. Casualties left in care of Ambulance crews. Police attended for traffic management.
