At 14:06 on Saturday, 26 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Small fire involving 4kg Calorgas cylinder flaring off. 1 hosereel jet used to extinguish fire and cool cylinder for appropriate disposal.
