At 11:08 on Wednesday, 30 April, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Ellesmere.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Baschurch, Wellington and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Cutters/Spreaders

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

RTC involving 1 vehicle, crews used cutting gear to release 1 casualty. Casualty was left in care of West Midlands Ambulance Service.
