At 18:58 on Thursday, 1 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Oswestry.

Incident involved a gas BBQ fire which was out on arrival of crews, crews used 1 hose reel jet and a thermal imaging camera to monitor temperature levels of the gas cylinder.
