At 16:55 on Tuesday, 20 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

This incident was found to be a controlled burn but due to high quantity of smoke fire has been extinguished by Fire Service Personnel.
