At 14:10 on Friday, 23 May, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Whixall, Whitchurch.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

Fire involving power line caused by a bird strike which resulted in a grass fire. Fire extinguished using hose reel jet an fogging unit
