At 01:25 on Sunday, 22 June, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire in rear garden rubbish bin caused by discarded cigarette which had spread to door.
