At 22:05 on Friday, 11 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton .

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire caused by bonfire. Fire Service personnel used one hosereel jet and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
