At 17:35 on Monday, 14 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Ludlow.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ludlow.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Incident involves a fire as well as power lines which have come to rest on ground. Once power lines had been isolated by Utility Company, crews extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet. Thermal imaging camera used to check for hotspots.
