At 10:13 on Monday, 28 July, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

10 square meters of hedgerow alight. 2 hose reel jets and 1 thermal imaging camera used to extinguish.
