At 13:26 on Sunday, 24 August, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving oven gloves left on hot cooker, this was found to be out on arrival of Fire Service Personnel.
