At 13:43 on Tuesday, 16 September, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire in battery of private electric saloon vehicle. Crews used hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera to extinguish fire and check temperatures.
