At 20:50 on Friday, 3 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Cable.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

This incident involved a sparking electric box affixed to a telegraph pole caused by tree branches falling on power lines - fire crews left the matter with National Grid who were in attendance.
