Crews were called to an activation of a Automatic Fire Alarm of a three storey residential building measuring approximately 40meters x 30 meters, investigation showed that smoke was issuing from a ground floor flat, a fire was located in the living room involving curtains. Crews dealt with the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, and one covering jet, a positive pressure ventilation fan was also in use. One elderly male resident was assisted from property by Fire Service Personnel.
