At 15:22 on Monday, 20 October, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Hosereel jet
• Main jet
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire involving fluorescent strip light in basement. Power isolated and inspection also carried out.
