At 15:58 on Wednesday, 7 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Minsterley. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire Service crews attended a small fire involving a Rayburn cooker. The fire was out on arrival, and crews isolated the Rayburn using small tools.
