At 21:26 on Friday, 23 January, 2026, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One derelict garage involved in fire. Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
