At 13:20 on Monday, 29 December, 2014, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Rtc Services in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances including the Pinzgauer were mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews are assisting with cars that have become stranded on ice on the Long Mynd. Passengers have been escorted to safety, vehicles have been lift in situ until roads are safe to pass.
