At 06:58 on Monday, 29 February, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury. A Fire Investigation officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

fire involving approx. 10m hedgerow and haybales inside steel shipping container. 1 hose reel jet and 2 breathing apparatus. Drag Rakes in use to remove hay bales from inside container
