At 22:03 on Monday, 4 April, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Whitchurch.

2 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Prees, Shrewsbury and Whitchurch. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera
