At 19:50 on Sunday, 22 May, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as House Fire in Reabrook, Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Domestic terrace property struck by lightning, causing small hole in roof. Small quantity of loft content affected. One light switch burnt out by power surge - no fire. Loft and property inspected using thermal image camera.
