At 21:50 on Saturday, 13 August, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.
