At 11:30 on Wednesday, 9 November, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shawbirch .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Fire involving dishwasher, 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets 1 covering jet and positive pressure ventilation in use.
