At 06:02 on Tuesday, 13 December, 2016, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Covering jet
• Dry powder extinguisher
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and a utility company.

Electrical fire involving consumer unit on ground floor stairway. 1 elderly female suffered slight smoke inhalation.
