At 15:18 on Tuesday, 30 May, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

3 fire appliances including the Aerial Ladder Platform were mobilised from Hodnet, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• 13.5m ladder
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Roof fire involving 14 solar panels.Solar panels have been isolated. Ariel Ladder platform in attendance for closer inspection.
