At 18:24 on Sunday, 1 October, 2017, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Secondary fire in underground reservoir measuring 25m x 25m. Two seats of fire which were out on arrival. Thermal imaging camera and torches used for inspection.
