At 20:02 on Thursday, 15 March, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Longdon-upon-Tern.

3 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to deal with the incident:

• Oxygen first aid

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Road traffic collision involving two vehicles come to rest side by side on single track bridge, occupants unable to get out due to position of vehicles. Crews gave oxygen therapy to casualties after assisting them from the vehicles.
