At 18:33 on Monday, 26 March, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by controlled burning.
