At 10:22 on Sunday, 16 September, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue in Shrewsbury .

3 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Baschurch and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm
