At 13:35 on Monday, 1 October, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Oreton, Cleobury Mortimer.

3 fire appliances including the Water Carrier were mobilised from Bridgnorth, Cleobury Mortimer, Craven Arms and Ludlow. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Incident was a controlled burn which had spread to and destroyed 2 derelict static caravans.
