At 09:26 on Tuesday, 2 October, 2018, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Cable in Chorley, Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances including the Incident Support Unit were mobilised from Cleobury Mortimer and Ludlow.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

One high voltage electric cable brought down by fallen tree, reported to be smoking and live. Crew cordoned area for safety awaiting arrival of Western Power.
